The Ruger 10/22 rifles are autoloading, recoil operated rifles. The 10/22 Tactical Rifle includes an ATI chassis with collapsible buttstock. Ruger Rapid Deploy flip up sights sit atop the picatinny rail where they can be folded out of the way or co-witness with an added red dot sight. The Ruger 10/22 rifles and carbines have a cross-button safety which is located in the forward portion of the trigger guard. The safety can be operated only when the hammer is cocked. This model uses the same ten-shot rotary magazine as the standard Ruger 10/22 rifle.
